The Knockan Dockan
The Knockan Dockan is A behind the scenes documentary based on the Independent music festival Knockan Stockan held annually at the Blessington Lakes in the Dublin Mountains.
Brought to you by a multi-award winning team of film-makers, designers, artists and music lovers, Knockan Dockan explores the unique concept of the Knockan Stockan festival. This annual 3 day music festival (23rd – 25th July) is held in the garden of Ireland, Co Wicklow and run entirely by volunteers.
The event is a unique concept that merges together both unsigned and underground musicians to celebrate and showcase their music. It also acts as a platform for musicians who are trying to break into the elusive music industry.
The Knockan Dockan features interviews with the festivals diverse crew of characters. The film also boasts an eclectic range of live music from some of most exciting up and coming acts in the country; Eric Noon and the Future Gypsies, Fusion Family, Marner Brown, Enda O’Reilly, The Amazing Few, Intinn, Mighty Stef, The Last Tycoons, Mescalito, North Strand Kontra Band, New Secret Weapon and many more.
