Saving Kilmainham – Teaser

From the Sky tells the story of Josie McCusker — who in 1942 at the age of 5 was playing in a field near her families farm when the quiet Sunday stillness was shattered by a deafening explosion. Traveling at 400 miles per hour, Battle of Britain Spitfire R6992, crashed into the ground and was instantly smashed to pieces. Now aged 81, she tells her story, alongside Aviation historian Jonny McNee who supervised an archaeological dig of the wreckage in 2017.
